A big thank you to all the councillors that offered their generous help to SWAMI home for the aged. I believe all of the volunteers have benefited greatly from the visit today. The volunteers had many fun moments with the elderly and I'm sure that there are a few learning points that all of them had take away.

Community Engagement Programme

Dear Student Councillors,

There will be a Community Engagement Programme (CEP) taking place soon.
The objective of this programme is to nurture the councillors to be a compassionate leaders, allow them to get involved in more vocational activity so as to have a wider understanding of the community service.
Councillors will be able to play their parts to serve the community through visiting homes and helping out in the homes.

Councillors who are interested, please approach Debbie Lin, the Level Coordinator.
The date and time for the visit to Swami Home will be updated soon.
Feel free to check out at www.swami.org.sg/ to know more about the home.

"Environment limits your perspective, Community Service expands it."
CEP will definately be an eye-opener to all.
It is a golden opportunity where everyone can gain valuable experience that is beyond contextual knowledge.
